£5K awarded for Development Project on Fuel Additive System for local company
The Department of Mechanical, Electrical & Environmental Engineering are linking up with Engym Services Ltd, a company which has been set up to develop a system designed to improve fuel economy and emissions from any internal combustion engine. Engym is testing a system and fuel additives which combine to provide fuel savings. The planned testing will look at the potential savings across a wide range of conditions. The initial Funding is through the Innovation Voucher Scheme. The company will also seek funding to further develop the system using a SMART award.
