Eurocode 3 (BSEN1993) Design of Steel Structures

• Samples of designing simple beams and an overview of columns including allowances for buckling.
• Classification of sections and defining the bending and shear resistance associated with each classification.
• Determining deformation limits for steel beams complying with national limits.
• Consideration of connections and the effects of fixity on structural stability checks.

Before undertaking the Eurocode 3 online training course

It is recommended that prior to undertaking the Eurocode 3 course users have experience in designing structures to BS5950, BS5368 and BS8110 or BS5400 standards.
