Risk Assessment is an integral part of the risk management process. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (1999) stipulate the requirement for a suitable and sufficient risk assessment, as do other specific regulations. Consequently, risk assessment is part and parcel of all our working lives. However, many are unsure of what is involved in assessing risks and see this as the domain of health and safety ‘experts’.
